For account executives · Teams evaluation

Start the next conversation with the context intact.

The meeting is booked, but the reason behind it often stays with the BDR. Explore what a useful handoff should carry into discovery: the evidence, what qualification established, what is still unknown and who owns the next step.

What gets lost

The BDR knew six things. The invite carried one.

When a meeting moves from BDR to AE as a calendar invite, discovery starts by rebuilding research someone already did. The evaluation begins with what the handoff needs to carry.

What the BDR learned

  • Why the account was worth calling now
  • The source behind it, and its date
  • Who answered and what they own
  • What they said about the current process
  • The questions that were not answered
  • The next step both sides agreed

What often reaches the AE

  • A meeting time and a name
  • The reason and the source
  • What qualification established
  • The open questions
  • Who owns the next step

A common pattern described for discussion, not a measurement of any team.

Evidence and the unknown

Separate what was observed from what is assumed.

A good handoff keeps three things apart: the account evidence, what the conversation established, and the questions discovery still has to answer. Mixing them is how an assumption becomes a forecast.

  • Observed

The account change and its named source.

Example: a regional office announced on 14 Oct.

  • Established

    What the prospect actually said.

Example: Dana owns onboarding and agreed to talk.

  • Still unknown

    What discovery must find out.

Example: budget owner, current tools, timeline.

Meeting preparation

Prepare discovery around the open questions.

With the handoff in hand, preparation is about the gaps: which unknowns matter most, who else should join, and what would make the next step obvious for both sides. The Handoff Inbox and meeting-preparation surfaces are topics to evaluate for your team, not a promise of access.

  3. Find outThe three unknowns, in orderBudget owner, current process, timeline.
  4. Close onA next step with an ownerAgreed in the meeting, written into the handoff.

Ownership and coordination

Every step has one owner.

Coordination with BDRs works when ownership is explicit. A conceptual split the evaluation can start from:

Scope and evaluation

What to evaluate for your AEs.

Teams access is arranged with Syntri after an agreed evaluation. It is not a self-service plan, and individual Plus, Pro and Ultra purchases do not grant team roles.

AE questions

Before you scope the handoff.

Can an AE buy Syntri on an individual plan?

Individual Plus, Pro and Ultra plans are built for BDR and SDR prospecting. AE handoff and meeting-preparation workflows are part of a scoped Teams evaluation, and access is confirmed with Syntri first.

Does Syntri sync the handoff into our CRM?

No automatic synchronization is represented here. Your CRM stays the system of record; what a handoff should carry, and where it lives, is part of the evaluation scope.

Who writes the handoff?

The BDR who qualified the meeting. Syntri can keep the account evidence and open questions attached to the account, but people decide what is handed over and who owns the next step.
